Representing Ontario, here’s what Julie had to share: “Family is important to me and, for my cake, I decided to use buildings and landmarks as visuals of my story” says Julie. “I drew inspiration from places that played a significant role in shaping who I am today, which incorporate elements from my cultural influence on my mom’s side (Germany) and my dad’s side (Quebec/Canada).

The cake overall has a contemporary look with a playful edge. The detailing is made with marshmallow fondant. And, because I love all things floral, lavender in particular, I opted for a Lavender-Blueberry cake.”
