At Vanilla Bean Lane, we’re all about good desserts made with intention, beautifully crafted, and with ingredients we trust.


Founded in 2020, Vanilla Bean Lane is a small batch, home-based business located in Oakville, Ontario.

Our founder, Julie, is a mom to a busy toddler by day and a baker by night, balancing family life with a full-time career and a deep love for baking. She was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 30 under 30 in Sustainability and has long been mindful of the environmental impact of the food industry. Driven by a desire to bake with intention, she combined her love of dessert with a commitment to reducing her carbon footprint.

Vanilla Bean Lane is rooted in community. We partner with local farmers and small businesses to bake with fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and support a more sustainable way of making food.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple goal: to create beautiful, delicious desserts while keeping sustainability in mind.
