At Vanilla Bean Lane, we are on a mission to create desserts
that earn the spotlight through attention to detail,
beautiful craftsmanship and sustainably-sourced ingredients.
Vanilla Bean Lane is a small-batch baking studio located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario. We believe that desserts should taste as good as they look and our goal since 2020 is to nourish the passion and inspiration in others to buy local.
Being recognized as Canada’s Top 30 under 30 in Sustainability, Julie was very familiar with the growing concerns for sustainability within Canada’s food industry. With a conviction to minimize her contribution to climate change, Julie decided to combine her love for baking with her desire to reduce her carbon footprint. She created an eco-friendly brand that builds on her the community behind Canada’s food scene by partnering with local farmers and businesses. Her goal is to improve the resiliency, adaptability and sustainability of our communities so we can appreciate ingredients that are local, fresh and healthy. This is what stands at the heart of Vanilla Bean Lane – a brand that focuses on creating showstopping desserts with sustainability at the top of mind.
